Daystar Tabernacle is an Apostolic church, affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International. In 2019, we will celebrate 20 years of dedicated service in the city of Dunn, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas.

OUR VISION & BEGINNING

Prior to pastoring in Dunn, Bro. and Sis. Blake were evangelist with the UPCI for almost 7 years. Blessed to travel across the United States and to Africa to preach this wonderful, life changing message of God's love. Through much prayer and preparation, and help from their pastor, Bishop Wayne Huntley, and their home church in Raleigh, The First United Pentecostal Church, now the Temple Of Pentecost, Bro. and Sis. Blake rented a storefront in Dunn, and started having services.

From that humble beginning 20 years ago, God has blessed us with wonderful people, who are faithful to God, to the church, and to the reaching out to our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We now have 41/2 acres of land, a church building that seats over 120, and a new office and classroom complex. The vision is still alive! The church is still dreaming! Revival is still taking place!

II Peter1:19 says, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts."

The day dawned 20 years ago, the light started shinning in a dark place, now the day star, Daystar Tabernacle, is rising in Dunn, North Carolina. Come and be a part of this exciting church of power, praise, passion, and purpose!
